Is it possible to nest notebook lists and ability to hide the nests for easier navigation in finding notebooks?

In the Notebook dropdown list, notebooks can be "stacked" into groups, but there are times when navigating the list I would like to close the notebooks in the stack for easier navigation.  Maybe some might say I have too many notebooks.  I do use labels, but, I am kind of old fashioned and want to stick to this method.

Hi.  Do you have the left panel visible? (See the View menu) - If so,  your 'stack' names should have a small triangle to the left when you hover the cursor over them. Click the triangle to hide/ unhide notebooks.  Also Ctrl+<Left Arrow> and <Right Arrow> will do the same.

Hey, thanks for that tip.  I have ust ignored the left panel becasue of it using screen space but now I will start using it.  Thanks again for the reply.
