Editing shared notes question

I'm looking for a way to get a hyperlink to a note such that I can open the note and edit it without having to log into Evernote.  I've been doing this for years with Google Docs, but I am only seeing a way to view my note, not edit it.

Hi.  You've raised this as a shared notes question: are you sharing the note with someone else,  or are they sharing with you?  There's an option under 'share' to allow view only,  or viewing and editing of a note - but its rather basic security that if you're connecting via a URL you'd need to log in to change the content.  Google Docs is presumably going off the fact that you're already logged into your Internet connection,  but Evernote doesn't have that access...
