How do I stop "looking for captured documents" in Android

Try Evernote > Settings > Notifications and UNtick "collect notifications"

Same problem here, this notification won't turn off. Disabling "collect notifications" didn't solved it.

I haven't seen a pop-up in months related to my captured content,  but I seem to recall that it took a while for Evernote to 'register' that I didn't want the messages.  You might try Sync / Uninstall / power off & on again / reinstall to see whether that will break the ties,  but if that doesn't work and you're a subscriber - raise it with Support to see if they can help.
