Does Web Clipper support smart tagging again?

Hi everybody,

Before I upgrade to Safari 13, I wanted to make sure that Web Clipper will perform smart tagging again.
Can anyone confirm it is back? I could not find anything related in the forum.

On Sep 23 it was announced for Release 2 of the new web clipper: 

But on the next update on Oct 29 the smart tagging is not mentioned anymore

 

This feature along with the flexible selection of areas is the main reason for me to use Evernote. So I really would not want to use it without smart tagging.
It seems many active for users have already updated and can give me a hint maybe?

OK after getting no😞 reactions to my question, I decided that in the worst case I would have to use Firefox for clipping if smart tagging would not work anymore in the new web clipper.

So I finally upgraded to Safari 13 and the new web clipper, and.... there it is: smart tagging works, although it's not mentioned anymore in Oct 29 community announcement.

So for anyone who was wondering like I did, that problem is solved.

Sorry you did not hear anything. This is a user forum, so it always depends on who is online, and what else to do.

And yes, as you found out yourself, both smart selections are available again.
