Select word and tag it simply?

Hi,

Would not it be easier to simply select a word in a Note and be able to tag it directly?

Could you add some details to the request

Is this a reference to the Tag element in a note's metadata?      
On my Mac, "tag it directly" currently requires: select a word >  copy > tag mode >  paste >  enter
I could automate the process with scripting

Hi, Thanks for prompt response. 

Yes, I am also doing the same select a word >  copy > tag mode >  paste >  enter

The problem is; I mostly use EN on my mobile -android- phone and this is becoming a little bit problem for long notes as I have to add one more step there;

select a word >  copy > scroll up & up & tag mode >  paste >  enter

Can' t this be simplified? maybe just select the word and hit "tag" somewhere on the screen?
