Cannot get unused files removed attached on SD card

Hank Foster

Idea

Hi, I think I've got a pretty big problem here. Last year, I got a connection between my phone (Galaxy A5-2017) and my laptop (ASUS) through a transfer cable to move English listening files into my phone. I had been using these files for a period of time. After finishing my course, they became unnecessary and I just want to delete them from my SD card to free up more capacity. No matter how hard I've tried to get it removed, It shown a notification that "cant delete this file''. It really makes me frustrate and furious because they waste nearly 1GB on my SD card.

Anyone know how to deal with this issue ????

If not being able to erase some files from an SD card is a big problem in your world, then life sounds pretty good in Hankville 😁

SD cards have a write protect switch.  Check to see that you haven't accidentally switched that to lock.

If not that, then what the others said, or just toss it and buy another.  Unless you really need a large capacity, these things are pretty cheap now.
