Preview image mistakenly displayed

My mac app displays images in the preview panel even though there is no image in the body. I copied some text from the web which had an image. I then deleted the image in the note but the preview still keeps the image. It's not appearing the body of the note. Anyone experiencing something similar?

I have a thumbnail showing an image that's totally unrelated to that note. But the image IS related to a note I created about six months ago. I have no idea why, but it's bothering me because it's confusing and I can't get rid of it.
