Scanning from HP LaserJet 477

How can I connect the HP Color LaserJet Pro 477 with built in scanner to Evernote on my MacBook Pro? Is there a setting in Evernote to connect to the printer/scanner? There is much talk about SnapScan, but the world is bigger than that.

Hi.  There's a lot of talk about ScanSnap because Fujitsu/ Evernote partnered on an integration.  I don't know if HP have anything similar,  but you could ask them.  Every scanner can scan to file however,  so the trick would be to just connect your scanner to the MB pro and then look into scripting options for moving files in to Evernote notes.  Some of my colleagues here may be able to help you with that.

I send my scans to an "import" folder.
This is a mac/windows folder that has been set up so new files are automatically imported, creating a note in Evernote.

I posted Mac instructions here
