BASIC PRINTING IN EVERNOTE STILL NOT COMPLETE.

KLdH

Idea

To the Evernote team,

I'm still unable to print ALL Tags with a Note!

As a writer, every time I print a single note, I still can't get all the tags I created with said note!  It's truly amazing that this DESIGN FLAW is still ongoing!

Let me be direct.  Evernote is a great product.  However, not having all tags associated with a note is seriously hampering my work in structuring my books.

If this is not solved, I'll simply have to look for another product.

Evernote, thank you for solving this issue and reviewing all your printing issues.  Printing is BASIC.  You need to ensure that all the working elements we, users and professionals see on our notes get printed.  Printing so one can work with paper is actually more efficient than relying on digital screens, believe it or not :)

To Evernote team, attached two jpgs that show the problems, basic printing problems, really.  The first is a single note of mine, with a list of tags.  The print-out cuts off at the 9th tag.

In the other screenshot, I managed to print out the complete list of my tags.  But only from the web client.  You'll notice that some of the tag words are cut-off as well.

Thank you

Ken

Just tested on my Mac; by default, the only metadata printed with the note is note title734955242_ScreenShot2019-11-06at07_30_38.png.c65d10a4c4c51d909c203a0dcfdb1ce2.png

There is a "print headers" option that prints more metadata
All the tags print; but there are missing metadata elements

efficient???
I'm not into printing; I prefer working paperless

fwiw  I append a copy of metadata to the note contents using an applescript (Mac)

This will print with the note

For you perhaps, but not necessarily in everyone's world.  ;)

No problem.  I was just figuring out the post topic interface.  Like in Windows, I forgot to select "notify me when replies come in" so had to post a second time.  Went back to the first post but couldn't find a delete.  Thanks.
