This is useful if I’m tired of some form of icon (for example, a circle), and I want to change it (for example, to a drop-shaped one). But since the shortcuts of your application do not support the adaptive icon, it looks very ugly when for most applications the shortcut icons of the application are drop-shaped, and you have left with your form.
