(Archived) URL links not playing nice

I was trying to figure out the best way of getting some podcast subscriptions into my Droid (those not easy to search for) and I had a brilliant idea! I figured I could just copy and paste them all into Evernote, then pull up the note on my phone, long-press each URL and copy it, then paste it into the form in my podcast player.

But this didn't work, the URL's would not work at all. I could not press them to go to the web page, and I could not long-press them to copy them.

Ultimately I solved my problem with a little Firefox plugin which sends URL links directly to your phone, and when you open your phone, it asks which application you want to use with that URL. I chose my podcast app (BeyondPod) and it worked perfect.
