Syncing problems

My notes are no longer syncing between my desktop and laptop.    When I click the Sync button, it displays what looks like an exclamation point in a red circle, but gives no error message.

Hi.  The red icon means you have an issue.

I believe it means you are not connected to the cloud for some reason.
