Forgot my old email from 8 years ago that I'm being forced into using for security.

Hi. I've used the same evernote account since 2011 (not this one) for a long time and have gotten by this entire time using the username and password. Now I'm being forced into resetting my password by the platform and it's very distressing because if I'm to do that it's functionally a permanent lock out from my account. Pleeeeease don't do this to me. Please. If the email is important I'll keep that in my mind but this has never happened in my entire time using the platform. I need some administrative support because the support ticket doesn't seem to validate my problem as actually occurring.  Please help.

Hi, @Muttweed, and welcome to the forums. It's basically user-to-user here, rather than a way to contact Evernote directly for support. But how is it that you're being "forced into resetting your password by the platform"? What kind of notification did you get about this? Are you saying that you don't remember the original email address, so that you can't manually log in as part of resetting the password?

It is possible, I believe, to find Evernote support on Twitter, even for Basic account holders, and you may want to try there.
