jonathanreid 0
Is there any solution to syncing a local notebook between 2 PC's on a LAN without storing on the web. I have private data that I am uncomfortable about putting on the web and it has already been OCRd.Is this a feature that may come ?I apologize if this has been covered before, but my searching could not find anything.ThanksJonathan Link to comment
BurgersNFries 2,407
There are only 2 ways to get your local notebooks to another computer. Export as enex file & import in the other computer or else simply copy your database (exb) file from one computer to the other. Link to comment
jonathanreid 0
Thanks for that, I figured that was going to be the case. Looks like I need to split tasks and get the private part done by something like Alfresco Document Manager. Link to comment
SiMahDan 0
I am new here and new to Evernote, but your question can be answered with a more elegant solution. Export your Evernote Notebook or a single Note to the "Shared Documents" folder. In Windows, you will find Shared Documents folder in the path: Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents. Normally, the Shared Document Folder is for use by other user accounts on one computer, but you can share the Shared Documents folder, (and sub-folders), with other local network nodes. Use Windows Help to learn the procedure. Link to comment
