Offline Notes

I know how to make selected notebooks available offline, but is there a way to do the same for certain *notes*? I have a few that are quite large due to inserted image files.

Available offline refers to notes being available when the device is offline; not connected to the internet.  The master version of our data is stored on the Evernote servers.  A copy may be stored locally on the device.

To make notes available offline, move them to an offline notebook.  

The notebook can contain a single note, or multiple notes.

Why is the note size significant?

But moving them to a different notebook will affect my notes organisation.

Note size is significant due to limited local storage space on my device (it has no expandable memory).

Notebooks are used to identify notes as sync'd/local, private/shared, offline

I use Tags for organization.

Other points about Tags:

• A note can have multiple tag assignments
• Tags can be organized in an unlimited level hierarchy
• Maximum # of tags is 100,000

Unfortunately, organising by notebooks is a relic of when I first started to use Evernote on PC years ago. I have so many now it would be tedious to reorganise everything 😅

This is easier on a Windows/Macs; a straight notebook>tag conversion
For example Notebook A becomes tag NB-A

Select all the notes in notebook A;
mass assign tag:NB-A

Yup - also works in Windows.

Thanks, all, for the feedback. Will have to digest this and perhaps rethink my Evernote organisation! 😜
