Guest Pablo A Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I would find very useful to be able to insert a timestamp (at cursor location). I propose a hotkey to be able to do it quickly. This is very important when the content depends on the date/time where it was written

Level 5 EdH 1,670 Posted June 7, 2019 Level 5 Posted June 7, 2019 The CTRL + Semi-colon key is fairly common. Same thing happens in Excel for example.
Guest toomas08 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Hello. ctrl+; shortcut inserts Date + Time. Needed shortcut to insert only date.

You can roll your own shortcuts with something like PhraseExpress or Auto Hot Key. Shift+Alt+D will add 2019.06.07 wherever for me. FWIW.
