Undo & redo doesn't scroll the note so I can't know where the undo is placed.

Hi.  'undo' (& Ctrl+Z) work on the last action taken,  so if you used the command to get back a deletion or remove an edit,  that's where the action should be.  Sometimes one 'undo' isn't enough and nothing will happen on the first click - then you just try again.  Depending on what exactly you're trying to undo,  it will sometimes just be unavailable - nothing will happen however many times you try it.
