"Reached Maximum Monthly Upload Limit" - on desktop only

Recommended Posts

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Evernote on my Windows desktop several times now.  No matter what I do, it says I have reached my monthly upload limit when I try to create a new note - even if I haven't even logged in for several months.  I can create notes just fine on the browser version, and it shows my limit is just fine on my account.  Ideas?

Contact support directly. It could be the installing and unstalling, and the multiple syncs that entails, caused you to hit your limit as a free user.

Can you provide a link to customer support? I am only finding FAQs on the website under customer support and contact us, absolutely no way to contact Evernote by form or email!

you mean like the links in my sig?

MatS14 THANK YOU!!!!  I had clicked on most of those options and it said I needed to submit a ticket but a link to do so never came up!  Thank you for all your time on the screenshots, hopefully I can get this fixed now!

For basic users  too, because I don't see that setting.

@Major Major, READ WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, It is simple, on the top of this page, scroll up, and you'll see your profile on the top left corner (an arrow is pointing at it ) :

1091056937_ScreenShot2019-04-26at9_07_53AM.thumb.png.1340e12c63788bd5f2e7bf178158c6f6.png

Next, do not press your profile photo, or  your M in this case, Press your name, where it says Major Major, when your mouse hovers over it, it should underline, press that. I have an X where you don't press and a box where you do press:

If you don't press the name , and you press the image ( your M ), it will bring you to your profile, you don't wanna go there for this.

When you press your name ( Major Major ), it will bring this up, and you go down and press "Account Settings":

Then it will bring this up, and press "Signature":

Then type in a signature, whatever you want, and check out the "View Signatures" box:

IF you haven't already, try logging out and back in.

  1.  File > Sign Out
  2. Log back into Evernote

This usually resets the connection between the service and the client and will reset the upload limit to match the web.

There seems to be some confusion here. EDH mentioned something in his signature. I and others do not see his signature. I was asking if there was a setting to see his signature. I am not interested in adding one of my own. As far as I know, that question has not been answered.

The setting is the View signatures slider that is mentioned above.  You can also add your own signature here but you don't have to.  Just activate the View signatures sliders to see users signatures.

Seems like a curious thing to base on user level, especially if the signature view setting default is off.  Many folks put help and support links in their signatures.  I would think that would be something we would want new users to see.  I can see restricting someone from creating their own signature, but not in viewing others.

You'd need to speak to the guy in charge for that one...
