For me Evernote 5.7 is better than 5.9, 6 etc...

In version 5.7 there is an function "Paste as text", in later versions it is replaced on to Paste in the current style. But result different. In version 5.7 it is convenient to insert the table as just the text, and then to send result for example by SMS. In later versions it is already impossible therefore I remain on 5.7

I agree, but can you even sync with that version?  I thought they had stopped sync for earlier versions. 

Myself I stopped because I found switching versions too much sometimes corrupts data (new editor, etc).

Yeah, I thought everything before 6.6 or so was turned off due to a security concern.
