Level 5* EdH 1,670 Posted August 19, 2010 Level 5* Share Posted August 19, 2010 Just curious to see how much other use their database. I am a premium member so have been adding files more often with that feature.I have 1,352 notes and it is about 360MB. (For Windows 7/Vista, you can see the file size at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Databases\)I've been using it since v1.x many eons ago but with the 3.x release and premium features, I have probably used it more in the last 12-18 months than I did in the previous 5+ years. crispinb 8
1476 notes, 737MB. Similarly, I've been an EN user for years, but have used it increasingly in recent times (since spending most of my computing hours on a Macbook. EN's multi-platform support is a huge plus.) Link to comment
Level 5 jbenson2 2,149 Posted August 20, 2010 Level 5 Share Posted August 20, 2010 I'm at 6,700 notes taking up 850 MB - half of the notes are web clippings of political issues that I converted to text with a free program called Readability. The other half are personal notes with a lot of scans going back 35+ years - wedding invites, vacation postcards, local newspaper info on the the town, etc. Link to comment
davidwilkinson007 2
5000+ notes, 8.9GB. Searches have gotten so slow (3 mins, Windows XP) that today I tried splitting some notes across to a second account ~2GB, deleted the notes ∧ purged the trash, only to find database remains at 8.9GB . Search speed however improved :-). Link to comment
