(Archived) PDF searching

Hi, I've just started using Evernote, and I'm a bit confused as to what PDF functionality is and isn't included.

So I've got my semester timetable as a PDF. I've imported it, and tried to search it, but I just get random boxes popping up rather than any of the actual text. I know that "image pdf's" are a premium feature, but it's completely searchable in Preview, so does that not mean it should be in Evernote?

Did you sync up, wait a while...(maybe ~an hour if you have a free account) and sync back down?

Tried re-syncing, still nothing. It seems to be searching SOMETHING, it gives results, but they seem completely random and of no correlation to the timetable, as you can see below:

Since the search is finding the note itself correctly, this isn't related to text recognition or OCR. This is, unfortunately, just a Mac PDF display bug. We've found that certain PDFs cause this issue, where our search highlighting rectangles don't align with the original document.

I've filed a bug on this issue.

I've just come across this bug. Very irritating.
