Automatically tag emails (without #tag in subject line...)

V. simple: I often send emails to people with my Evernote cc'd in. I'd like all emails I send into Evernote to be given the tag "Email".

I know I can do this by adding #Email to subject line but it would look weird to the recipients!

Is there a way to tell Evernote to add "Email" tag to all incoming emails?

Hi.  There are several possibilities...

https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/15661-tip-automatic-filtering-tagging-and-filing-of-e-mailed-notes/

" Use source:mail.smtp to see notes added through email."  - https://evernote.com/blog/11-advanced-search-techniques/ & generally for info: http://dev.evernote.com/doc/articles/search_grammar.php

Use Filterize to analyse your notes and automatically apply tags in real time.

Your choice which is most effective for your use case.

Cheers!  Try to avoid 3rd party software so will use the source:mail.smtp manual method for now...

@gazumped Wow, Filterize looks very promising and even has a GTD workflow. Thanks!

You're welcome - it takes (well,  me,  anyway) a little while to get used to the system but there are lots of videos.  There's an interesting blog too...https://filterize.net/blog/

(In my most modest tone of voice...)  I use a modified Eisenhower/ GTD system for my own priorities which used to be mostly manual,  but I'm just going through setting up all the necessary dashboards...  I may boast/ post more when it's done!  🧐
