Sync new device after replacing old

I had to replace the PC on which I originally installed Evernote. When I tried syncing with the new device, I received an email saying I had exceeded the limit of 2 devices (I also have Evernote installed on my laptop). I went into my account and deleted the PC that I no longer have, leaving just the new PC and laptop in my account. However, I'm still unable to sync from the new PC. Any suggestions of how to resolve this problem will be greatly appreciated.
