Unsharing a deleted note

Hi,

Would like to ask something a little urgent about sharing notes-- how do you unshare an already-deleted note?

Some context:

1. I created a note whose shared link I sent to Person A. 

2. Person A already read and understood the contents of the shared note. So, the note's purpose is done. I deleted the note from my list of notes. 

3. I deleted the note even from my trash folder.

4. I click the note's link which I sent to Person A. The link still works and opens to the already-deleted note. 

5. I can't press the "permanently stop sharing" button on the already-deleted note because... it's already gone, haha.

Delete it again, then force your client to sync. That should kill it. 

 

If not, once in it, restore it, then remove the share. 

 

If if that is necessary though, sounds like a bug.

Hi EdH,

Well, I can't delete the note as I've... deleted it already and removed it from my trash bin, haha. 

I've tried the link I've sent to Person A and it still opened up the note, 😕 

The note contains some sensitive information I would want to be deleted after its use, and it still appears unfortunately.
