Quick Note Disappears

The pulldown quick note feature keeps disappearing on my Pixel 3 XL. 

I have "Add notes from notification bar" enabled all the time. 

Sometimes it's available, but more often it's just gone. If I reopen the Evernote app, the quick note pulldown feature reappears.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi.  Don't think I ever had this issue... maybe device specific?  Have you tried any Pixel-related forums for similar issues?  The only help I can suggest would be to use one of the widgets that Evernote supplies,  so that at least you have a quick note option from your Home screen.

I think I solved this problem: I uninstalled Evernote on my Pixel 3 and reinstalled it. So far, so good!

Is the note-creation feature itself missing, or just the elephant icon? I've found that in recent versions, the icon is sometimes there and sometimes missing. For some time it was never present, now it seems to be random. See this thread:

It had been everything that was missing: the note creation feature. I forgot to mention in my previous post that in addition to uninstalling and reinstalling Evernote, I switched from beta to the regular version. All is well now.

Glad to hear it's fixed! I hope you reported the disappearance on the beta forum.
