How do you find the number of words/resources in a note? (Windows)

I'm using the latest version of Evernote on a PC.

There are two methods with Evernote Windows.

>Note
>Word & Resource Counts

And you can have a brief summary at the bottom of every note

>Show Status Bar

I don't understand this response. I searched and found this elsewhere, but I can't figure out where to find word and resource counts, view or show status bar. Thanks for your help.

First method - From the menu, click on NOTE, then WORD AND RESOURCE COUNTS (see Screen 1).

The WORD AND RESOURCE COUNTS is a pop-up (see Screen 2)

I prefer the 2nd method because it is applied to the bottom of all my notes.

In this screen capture, the word count is 90, character count is 599

Here is a screen shot showing View and Status Bar.

This turns on the 2nd method mentioned above.

It’s not there because it was not coded for the new clients.

Requested a few times, you can maybe find a feature request from when v10 launched with forum search. But it never turned into a hot topic.
