cpchang 12
Perhaps due to the sensitivity of my Windows keyboard or mouse, sometimes I found a child tag moved out of its nest and showed up outside of the parent tag. Is there a way to prevent this to happen, such as locking down the structure of a nested tag? Link to post
Level 5* DTLow 5,084 Posted December 4, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted December 4, 2018 afaik A tag structure can not be locked I can't always rely on the tag hierarchy, so I prefix my tagnames to identify the structure For example !Type-Ref-Evernote Alphabetic order works for me. Link to post
cpchang 12
Thanks. I was thinking of doing this. But it has some drawbacks. Maybe I should suggest Evernote to add a feature of locking down a specific nested tag, or a general lock of the entire structure. Link to post
Don Dz 156
I don't know whether it has been reported, but I do believe the stacking behavior in EN for Windows is buggy, something similar to what you describe happens too often, no matter how slowly I work. But I also use prefixing, it helps a little. Link to post
