What UI Framework does evernote use for the desktop application

Recommended Posts

Evernote mentioned they migrated from C#/WPF to C++ about 8 years ago. They took down the announcement from their website so I can't get the details of the migration. I am very curious to know the UI framework they are currently using to achieve cross platform.

Dunno what Windows framework they're using -- it doesn't appear to be MFC -- but it's almost certainly not cross-platform On the other hand, they are using the Chromium Embedded Framework version 3 (or CEF, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_Embedded_Framework), which is cross-platform, to handle note display and editing.
