ramydenton 0
I'm curious about the limitations of using Evernote. the community seems quite responsive and lively even though I haven't seen huge updated from Evernote on many features. One thing I like to do is keep a long journal that contains thousands of words. Evernote lags really badly when I use it like this. unfortunately gotta split up to smaller notes I love the search feature and the OCR. I wonder if there other note taking apps that even compare to it. Link to comment

The Evernote editor/format is ok for basic notes, but are not my choice for serious work. Fortunately files of any format can be included in a note; I have my choice of many editors. The limitations are different on each platform. Windows/Mac are full featured; I find the other platforms only suplementry Security could be improved with full database encryption. For me, the most critical edit improvement is read-only setting for notes. It's too easy to accidently edit a note. Link to comment
