Please do not share "Default Notebook" over all devices

Hello there,

 

I use EN windows client a lot. On my private PC, on my office workstation...

Currently the default notebook setting is shared on all devices.

But I'd like to use a different default notebook on different installations (one for private use at home, one for work ... at work).

That is really more of a service setting so when you emai a note, clip a web page, or use any external service to add a note, Evernote knows where to put it by default. And for those of us with many devices it keeps it simple vs having to set that setting on every device. 

It is one of the few settings that is synced but it makes sense why it is.

Hmmn.  Not sure how far this would take you,  but in most Clipper versions,  the options/ preferences will allow you to specify to which notebook any clips should be saved.  That could be different for each location...
