Copying while dragging text

Idea

Moving and Copying Text in Documents
  1. Select the text that you want to move or copy.
  2. Do one of the following:
To move the selected text, drag the text to a different location in the document and release. While you drag, the mouse pointer changes to include a gray box.
 {Graphic not displayed (see attachment)}
To copy the selected text, hold down Ctrl while you drag. The mouse pointer changes to include a plus sign (+).

Microsoft applications, Word, WordPad, etc., support copying while dragging text as described above.
Evernote does not allow copying while dragging text, however, it does allow moving the text. This is a bug in release 6.16.4.8094. Can you fix it?
