Lost notebooks

Hi the Evernote Community,

I lost some notebooks in my Evernote a few weeks ago: several months of notes, boards and two entire notebooks disappeared. Now I have old notes - 6 monyhs ago.

How can we find/recover such things? Is it possible to have access to a whole history of what happened?

Were these Local Notebooks, or sync'd Notebooks.

Usually the notes would be moved to the Trash, and can be retrieved from there.

I have personal backups so would be recovering notes from there.

Thanks for your response DT Low. These are syncronised notebooks. What is also odd is that my colleagues sent me again invitation to have acces to these notebooks I previously shared with them. When I received the invitation and clicked on it, I reached my Evernote page but the lost notebook are still not present.
