AndreT 3 Posted November 5, 2018 Author Share Posted November 5, 2018 Four use cases for creatives / designers in evernote on mac desktop. user case A - I highlight random system text and use a automated script to save that system text, via right click contextual services menu to en. user case B - I right click event or mail message or drag event or message to evernote in Dock user case C - Take a auto contrasted document photo using the ios app via the homescreen shortcut, add this multiple pages image note to en. Then sync straight to the desktop app. user case D - new note via the big desktop plus button and quickly type one line of text, simple but still creates untitled note. Recommended default auto formatting options: opt A - pull first three words of top line, max characters 180 truncated, opt B - event title or mail message subject line and Known location of creation in title, opt C - image OCR pulls text from image if possible (for pro users) get auto text three words like opt A. opt D - anything is better than untitled as sometimes Mac users don't have time to type the title on clipping, or while taking a document image on the mobile app's camera.
