Lost all notes after changing laptop password

Hi

I am not a premium user and had a bug in my laptop and had to change password. I only used the evernote desktop app and when I logged in it appears that I lost all my notes. I tried to login with my username and then with my email address. Same story. I had 2 years of history and a lot of critical notes in there that I am desperate to retrieve. I tried contacting evernote but they won't respond and here I am. 

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Your notes are not lost.  They can be accessed by entering the correct email and password.

If you've logged in and are seeing no data, you may have accidently created a new account.
