Beavergreen 1
My wife now has her own EN account. How can I “batch” move 100 of her notes from my EN over to her new one? Thanks! Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,568 Posted October 10, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted October 10, 2018 If you're using a desktop, export the notes to ENEX files and reimport into her account. Or share the notes to her - but if she has a new account, share takes a short while to activate. How to back up (export) and restore (import) notes and notebooks 1 Link to comment
Rivenbrock 0
Why does share take a while to activate on new accounts? Is there a specific reason or should we not worry about this at all? I'm just curious. Link to comment
Evernote Staff* Scott T. 570 Posted October 11, 2018 Evernote Staff* Share Posted October 11, 2018 Sharing notes for new free users (not paid) has delays on it due to spam prevention. We don't want people farming new Evernote accounts and sending note spam to people via sharing. We have different limits on sharing via email vs. sharing via WorkChat. I'm not sure I'm allowed to specify the exact limits. Furthermore, we require new users to validate they own the email address they registered with before they can share. 1 Link to comment
