Copy and Paste into New Document Adds Lines

Ever since the most recent update when I copy and paste something from Evernote into any other format (Pages, Word, email), it creates extra spaces between lines after each bullet-point. This makes me then have to go through the time-consuming process of deleting every extra space between each line. This is a new thing that was not happening prior to this update. Any suggestions on how to keep this from happening?

Word usually has several paste option - obviously 'plain text' would kill your bulleted text,  but there should be a 'merge styles' which may help?
