Howard3005 0
The Notebooks scrollbar (for the leftmost pane) is so narrow that when I want to use it in order to scroll, Evernote is often deciding that I am trying to move the current item that is selected. In my case, this was a tag, but it could have been an entire notebook. Moreover, when I tried to undo the place where Evernote moved the tag, Evernote got confused and I eventually just deleted the tag. There needs to be a way to back out of an unintended Evernote "Move" Command because this command is too powerful and can lead to disaster. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,517 Posted October 8, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted October 8, 2018 Hi. Is it not possible to simply move the tag back? AFAICS the scroll in the left-most window is the same width as the list and note windows. Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,589 Posted October 9, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted October 9, 2018 If you ever sense that what you're doing is a move rather than a scrollbar operation, then just hit the Esc key before you let up the mouse button. The pending move will be cancelled. Once you let up the mouse button, the move will happen, and no way to back it out. That being said, a notebook move or tag is pretty harmless. And further, that being said, it would be nice if Ctrl+Z (undo) did undo operations like these. Link to comment
