No sound notification

Hi, ever since upgrading to MIUI 10 on my Mi Note 2, there is no sound notifications from Evernote, only the elephant on the notification bar. I tried uninstalling and re-installing and clearing the cache but to no avail. Currently, the application is of no use to me like that..

Any ideas?

I'm not familiar with that phone, but if you haven't yet, you might check in the system settings to make sure that Evernote has permission to give sound notifications.

Dave, you are a genius! Although I do not understand how permissions changed (the application gave sound notifications all right), I checked and this fixed the issue. I still wonder why led notifications do not work despite me applying the same solution..,.

I'm so glad that that worked! Sometimes the simplest ideas work best. Therefore, instead of a genius, maybe I am a simpleton.
