Changing text colour on my Mac Evernote is a real hassle. I click the icon on the toolbar, try to find the pop-up window colour picker, choose the colour, close the pop-up window, then try to figure out what I was doing. It would be very helpful if the text colour icon on the toolbar gave me say 3 favourite colors plus an option to open the full colour picker box.
