Paul_Alivisatos 0
I have been backing up my Evernote folders to a Mac via export, just in case. I can export smaller folders, but one larger one, with 2000 notes, does not backup probably. The export dialog starts but never completes. Is there a way to do this? Thank you for any suggestions. Level 5* DTLow 5,096 Posted September 24, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted September 24, 2018 I do weekly full export of my data, 12k notes. No issue, it completes in 20 minutes. I get in progress feedback Does the Activity Log give any info on the problem? Link to post
Paul_Alivisatos 0
Thanks for the reply. I can export folders in general, but one notebook just never advances after displaying a "downloading contect" dialog box. The blue bar never starts moving across. All the notes seem to be accessible form the app, so I am not sure why this would be. Thanks for any advice. I would hate to lose all of these notes. Link to post

I've seen that before, I'm guessing the export can't continue until the content is downloaded. In my case, I waited until the download completed. The export then ran sucessfully. Link to post
Paul_Alivisatos 0
I think this thread is relevant to my problem, which persists, despite waiting many hours: Any further pointers would be appreciated, as I can export some notebooks just fine but not others, and just waiting longer is not working. Thank you for the help. Link to post
Paul_Alivisatos 0
Ok, the problem was indeed that the Mac app was not synced up fully, and it took quite a long tome for that to happen. I do not know why it was not properly synced through normal use, nut problem solved for now. Link to post
