FairPunishment 1 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 The android app seems to do this correctly, but the Windows app does not, as far as I can tell. What it currently does is like: "searchterm*" (wildcard at the end) What I want is more like "*searchterm*" (wildcard at beginning and end) Is there a way to turn on that option on the Windows client?
Level 5* gazumped 12,217 Posted September 11, 2018 Level 5* Posted September 11, 2018 Hi. I'm using the Windows beta 6.15 and the 'before and after' style search seems to work fine. "tance" gets me to my 'assistance' tag, and taking a couple of characters off the end gives me consultancy too. This is using the Ctrl+Q tag search.

Sorry, I just realized that I left off an important part of my question. The issue is when adding tags to new or existing notes. When searching for existing notes, I get that too. But when creating a new note and choosing tags for it, I do not have it so easy. Try doing that same thing while creating a new note, or adding tags to an existing note.

The options item refers to the Tag Picker, used to select tags for note list filtering, located in the lower right-hand corner of the search panel, or invoked using the Alt+Shift+T hotkey.
