Excessive blank padding

I tried to attach a pdf to my notes today, but the resulting size of the pdf was waaaayyyyyy too big in comparison to the rest of the text. Having the file with the rest of my notes isn't that important to me so I just was happy to just get rid of it, but the attachment has stretched out my notes to the extent that I can't get rid of the excess blank space. It's squished my notes into a corner and I can't even zoom in enough for it to be comfortably legible anymore... Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm not too familiar with the program so I might've overlooked a functionality somewhere.

The same problem has somehow extended to all my notes and other notebooks as well so I can't even copy it into a new note. There aren't any floating breaks or anything either on the page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi.  Try Ctrl and "+" to make things bigger,  "-" if that goes too far.  Also works with Format (on the menu bar) and Zoom.  Ctrl + mouse scroll is also an option...

I've tried zooming in, and it doesn't make much of a difference... The second pic I attached is how the notes look when I've ctrl +'ed as much as possible :(

Hmmn.  Odd.  If you sign out of Evernote and back in,  does that revert you to the standard resolution?

Signing out and back in doesn't change it either..

Wow - that's one persistent zoom...  OK - last suggestion:

  1. raise a query with @EvernoteHelps - you won't get a quick response,  but meantime...
  2. try restarting your computer if you didn't do that already
  3. log into Evernote and manually sync,  go to Tools > Options > General and scroll down to open the Databases foolder, and copy that folder to your desktop.
  4. uninstall and reinstall the application (the desktop copy folder is just in case)
  5. check the note again...
