Can't export notebooks

I'm trying to export two of my notebooks, and am trying to follow the instructions given by Evernote to do this, but I don't have any of the options it says to follow. I'm using Chrome, and am in the new view of Evernote (though it wasn't working in the old view either). The instructions say to right click a notebook and select File -> Export Notes, but when I right click, I don't even see a File option, nor is it anywhere in any options on Evernote. Am I missing something? I need to move about 50 notes and really don't want to cut and paste them all individually.

The export feature in Evernote is only available on the Mac and Windows platforms.  You will need to install the client software.

So Linux and mobile users are just out of luck? Is there a workaround? I'm using Firefox on Kubuntu Linux and Android app on my phone and tablet.
