What causes 'Note Conflict'?
Basic explanation: you've made edits to the same note on different devices (or in different applications) without syncing in-between.
Normally, you should edit on one device, sync your changes up to the Evernote servers, and then go to another device, sync the changes down to that device, and then you can edit without losing anything.
If however, if you don't sync your changes up to the Evernote server before making changes to the same not on a different device, then you might get a Note Conflict error, if Evernote detects it; and you should wind up with two different versions of the same note. If Evernote doesn't detect it, then you'll likely lose changes in one or the other of the note versions.
