Hdz 0
Hi All, Last night I had to factory reset my phone, before doing this i double checked that my account was being backed up as is linked with my gmail on my HTC One M9. I have now gone back on to it today to find that at least one of my notes is missing while the others are okay. I have checked trash, others devices to no avail. This note is exceptionally important as it was one i used day in day out. Can anyone help me?? Thanks, A Devastated User. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted July 31, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted July 31, 2018 Hi. It's possible that whatever issue made you factory reset your phone prevented that note from syncing with the server. I don't understand your comment about the account being linked with your gmail and your phone though. If you have access to a browser, visit Evernote.com and sign into your account. Your notes should be there - including a version (not necessarily the most up to date one) of your important note. More may be available through note history - or the Trash notebook. Evernote syncs from current device to server, then to other devices; so that you should have a copy of all notes on the server. Link to comment
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 3,938 Posted July 31, 2018 Level 5 Share Posted July 31, 2018 @Hdz, welcome to the forums. As a PS to what @gazumped said, I see you're on a Basic subscription. To get access to Note History if you need to, you could subscribe to Premium for just one month, (hopefully) recover your note from Note History, and then drop back to Basic. Link to comment
