New Hard Drive - Need To Remove From Old HD

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

So I just got a new HD & Desktop Evernote won't let me sign in to the desktop version on the new HD because I guess it thinks I'm still using it on the old HD & I have the app on my phone too.

So what do I have to do with the old HD so I can open it on the new HD?

And do I need to back anything up?

Thanks a ton

I'm guessing you're running into the simultaneous device limit.1263321260_ScreenShot2018-07-22at14_55_33.png.977748efb2f4408577c4cf13aa0432e7.png
Evernote displays a device list in your user settings.  Use this list to revoke access to inactive devices
Make sure you sync your data before dropping a device.

With  your data sync'd to the server (no local notebooks); you're already backed up.
When you login on the new device, a copy of your data will be downloaded.
