Cannot view my pdf or image attachments

Hi all, I'm trying to view my notes on my phone, and on the computer it automatically has an image when I open the note. On my phone, it appears as an "attachment icon" with the size of the file next to it, and an edit icon as well as the three dots to signify more options. I press on the three dots and select "view", but a message opens and says "we can't show the file because it's corrupted". I've tried other ways to put an image into my notes but no success and same outcome. It's been very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
