Cannot edit images on Android

When I try to open an image in Skitch from Evernote I always get the error "image loading error". How can I go about troubleshooting this issue?

@Dave-in-Decatur I read the thread as you suggested & just left more confused about how to go about troubleshooting this issue.

I have a JPEG that renders just fine embedded in the note & get the "Image Loading Error"

A 2nd JPEG in the same note opens up for annotation just fine.

That post was a year and a half old, and things have likely changed in the app since then. If I'm understanding you correctly, the image displays OK, but won't open for annotating, even though another image in the same note does open for annotating. Did both images come from the same general source (camera, Web, etc.)? Since it looks like something has gone wrong with this image, it might be best to try downloading the image to your device and then re-attaching it to the note, in hopes that the second version will work right. If that fails, you might try re-attaching it in one of the Evernote computer apps or the browser version.
