(Archived) Evernote Shared Folder works in Firefox!

I just tried the link to the Evernote shared notebook with my Firefox browser and it worked! Super.

But I have never been able to access my web based Evernote account. I tried it again today and it just hangs. The clock is rotating for the first few seconds and then stops. I give up after 4 to 6 minutes of waiting. Evernote customer service told me the problem was with the Firefox browser and requested that I use IE. And they are right, IE does work, but I very seldom use IE.

So I am wondering what is the difference between

the Evernote shared notebook (accessible with Firefox) and

my personal web Evernote (not accessible by Firefox)

I have 6,500 notes on my personal Evernote account. But that should not be a problem.

Just tried IE and it locked up as well, but this time I got an error.

No idea what it means. I do keep up to date with all the recent Java updates.

No joy with Firefox or IE

So on a lark, I tried Chrome.

Guess what. It works like a charm. Fast and painless.
