Evernote "tips" keep coming back? (How to disable them)

Example:  under "All Notes," 

it says

Add photos

You can add photos to your notes from your Gallery.

Then "Try It."

No matter if I click "Try it" or click the "X" button, it eventually comes back or other tips do

If you haven't yet, you could try going to Settings (from the Menu button at the top left of the Evernote app screen), then Tutorials, and check Turn off educational tips. I think people's experience varies as to whether this actually works! I've got it unchecked, yet I don't get tips.

Did you try checking it? Who knows? It might work!
